Green Sand Casting
Green sand casting uses a mixture of sand, clay, and water to form molds. The mixture is packed around a pattern to create a cavity for casting. Molten metal is then poured into the mold. After solidification, the mold is broken to remove the cast part. This method supports complex shapes and detailed designs. It is widely used by leading iron castings manufacturers due to its cost efficiency. The process is suitable for machinery and agricultural components.

Shell Mold Casting
Shell mold casting uses chemically bonded sand instead of traditional green sand. The mold is created by packing sand mixed with resin and catalyst around a pattern. Once hardened, it offers better dimensional accuracy and a smoother surface finish. This method reduces casting defects and supports precision needs. It is often preferred when custom iron castings require tighter tolerances and refined finishes. Industries such as aerospace and defense rely on this process.

Air Set (No Bake) Casting
Air-set casting uses sand mixed with resin binders that harden when exposed to air. Heat is not required for curing. This method supports intricate and complex designs. It works with various pattern materials and delivers smoother surfaces than coarse green sand. It is a method commonly used for complex iron castings, where precision is crucial. Although slightly expensive, it is chosen for patterns with deep and narrow pockets.
